Our 1" (25mm) Biothane® Dog Lead was made in response to demand from our customers for a wider, heavy-duty lead designed for powerful dogs and working breeds.
Made from genuine waterproof Biothane®, this lead offers excellent strength and durability while remaining comfortable to handle. It is waterproof, odour resistant, easy to clean, and ideal for everyday walking, training, working dogs and outdoor adventures in all conditions.
Available in standard lengths from 1200mm to 1800mm, each lead is fitted with strong metal hardware and a secure spring snap clip for reliable control.
While the 25mm lead is built specifically for dogs requiring extra width and strength, our 13mm, 16mm and 19mm leads remain our most popular options and are suitable for the majority of dogs. We personally use our 19mm Biothane® leads with our working Rottweilers, and find them more than capable of handling these powerful dogs.
The 25mm lead is the ideal choice when you prefer a wider lead, want additional strength, or simply want a substantial lead for a large or powerful dog.

All of our products are made to order in Melbourne. Manufacturing time is typically 1 to 5 business days
Depending on the item and order size, with standard collars and leads usually completed within 1 to 3 business days, and larger or custom items such as long lines taking 1 to 5 business days.
Once your order is made and shipped, delivery within Australia is generally 2 to 8 business days for metro areas and up to 10 business days for regional areas. Express shipping is usually faster depending on your location. Most orders are delivered within 5 to 12 business days total from purchase.
If we are out of stock of any items causing a delay, we will contact you as soon as possible.
We aim to generate your shipping label within the first few days of receiving your order, so please do not be concerned if tracking updates are not visible straight away as your order may still be in production.
Our policy for returns and refunds is designed to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we are pleased to accept returns subject to the following conditions:
Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to initiate the return process. Items must be dispatched within 30 days of delivery.
Buyers are responsible for the cost of postage for returning the item. The buyer will be responsible for any decrease in the item's value if it is not returned in its original condition.

Our collars and leads are exclusively made using BioThane®, the finest quality strapping material for dogs. BioThane® is manufactured in the USA and is highly durable, easy to clean, waterproof, and stronger than leather. Despite these qualities, it retains a soft and flexible texture similar to leather, making it effortless to maintain. We take pride in using this superior product, which is now available in Australia.
Maintaining Biothane is simple, and Biothane USA recommends using a mild mixture of warm soapy water to clean it. Since the color is injected into the PVC coating, there is no need to worry about color fading or loss of texture.
To prevent dirt and grime buildup on the BioThane® strapping, wipe it down with a damp cloth. For the hardware, avoid using wire brushes or tools that may damage the coating, and don't machine wash as it may scratch the hardware. After use in wet conditions, dry or hang the hardware to dry.

Remember, a properly fitting collar should be snug but not too tight, with enough room to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck. A custom-fit collar will provide the best comfort and support for your dog.
