Nextgen Dog Collars was born in 2020 out of the passion of two people who absolutely love everything K9. Our pets are everything to us, and we give them the best possible life!
We're driven by providing quality, long-lasting products rather than big profits. Every single collar, lead and harness is made by hand and is unique. Take pride in showing off your dogs accessories knowing that it is unique and made just for you!
We love a challenge, too - We specialize in working with Biothane and are always looking for new product ideas. OUR DOGS
We have two Rottweilers and an adopted Staffie, and dogs are at the centre of everything we do. We train and compete across a wide range of dog sports including Tracking, Rally Obedience, Scent Work, Track and Search, Weight Pull, Adventure Dog, and Sprint Dog.
Spending time training and competing has given us a real understanding of what it takes to build confident, capable, and motivated dogs. That experience carries through into everything we do, from daily training to the gear we manufacture, use, and trust.
OUR GEAR
Everything we make starts with our own dogs. We use this gear every day, and it's the same equipment we trust whether we're training, camping, or just heading out for a walk.
Our 3 dogs wear our 3/4" BioThane® Martingale Collars as their everyday collars. They are comfortable, waterproof, easy to clean, and built to handle everything from daily walks to training sessions.

For everyday walks, we use our 3/4" Tactical Dog Leads with Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Hardware. We often use the handle end to tether our dogs when we're at a cafe, park, or dog event, and we find the 1.5 meter length suits us perfectly.

When we're heading to the beach, camping, tracking, or competing in dog sports, our go to choice is a 12 meter 3/4" BioThane® Long Line. We prefer ours without a handle, as it glides over sand, grass, and bushland without getting caught on branches, fences, or other obstacles.

To keep everything organised in the back of our vehicle, we use our BioThane® Long Line Keepers, mounted to our Variocage dog cage. They keep our long lines neatly stored, off the floor, tangle free, and always within easy reach for our next adventure.

Our favourite toys that we use with our own dogs are our DuraFoam Rings and Fetch Launcher Balls. They're lightweight, durable, and perfect for everyday play sessions, whether it's training, recall work, or just burning off energy. We also use the rings at the beach as they float in water, which makes them ideal for water play and retrieves.

We also use our Ultimate Tug Toys, which our Rottweilers absolutely love. They're strong enough for serious tug sessions while still being fun and engaging for building drive and reward work.
